(PM) – The CDC announced the first US case of the nCov virus in Washington State, which originated from China.
The nCov virus was first identified last month in Wuhan, China. Since then, there have been over 650 confirmed cases. Outside of China, cases have been reported in Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, Macau, Vietnam and South Korea. Eighteen people have died from the virus.
