(PM)- The NHC has designated a tropical wave as Tropical Depression 5 in the Lesser Antilles. The NHC is forecasting this wave to become a hurricane as it moves over the Caribbean Sea. The Windward Islands, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, and the Eastern Caribbean should closely monitor this storm.
The storm could affect the Lesser Antilles as early as Tuesday. According to NHC’s path, Puerto Rico and others in the Eastern Caribbean could face impacts mid-week.
