(PM) — A large tornado touched down near Kansas City, Missouri late Tuesday Afternoon prompting the National Weather Service to declare an emergency declaration.
The tornado touched down at approximately 8:10 PM and no injuries have been so far reported. Winds were said to be of up to 112KM/H. The tornado is approximately a mile wide and rain wrapped.
Debris has been reported to be “falling from the sky” from as far as Tonganoxie, KS and damage has been reported.
As of 8:51 PM ET, a new tornado warning has since been reported for Clay County, MO.
