(PM)- Significant damage was reported after a tornado hit the town of Pendleton in Indiana.
The Madison County EMA released a statement on the situation: “Pendleton has significant damage from the storm. Most roads in town are closed and utility power is out. No reported injuries at this time.”
The account further updated that search and rescue operations are underway in the area.
Reports indicate that there are several structure fires in the town. Pendleton has a population of nearly 5,000 people.
