(PM)- A suspected bomb has exploded in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon, France, injuring at least ten people.
The incident occurred at 5:30 PM local time on Friday in the city center.
French President called the incident an ‘attack’. The explosive object is suspected to be a package bomb.
AFP reports that the incident is believed to have involved an explosive device. According to The Sun, the bomb was filled with “nails, bolts, and screws”.
The New York Police Department says it is monitoring the incident.
At least two people are seriously injured.
